About Rahel

Rahel resides in Northern Israel. Since 1997, Rahel has been engaged in the study and practice of music as a unique and powerful form of energy medicine that supports mind-body-spirit healing, transformation and transition. More recently she has become immersed in the study of Torah-based healing in theory and practice and currently studying towards certification as a LIFE COACH at the Refuah Institute in Jerusalem.
Rahel serves musically in therapeutic settings including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, senior residences, hospices, and special needs facilities; and facilitates meditative, experiential, and interactive concerts, programs, and sessions at retreats, conferences, educational facilities, a variety of health-related environments, and faith and interfaith communities in the USA and abroad.
Most recently Rahel lived and worked in South Korea as a Musician, Actor and Model from 2018-2022. Her extensive musical career includes performances in a variety of musical ensembles, groups, bands and combos. She founded non-profit organizations in support of bringing people together with music, movement and the arts for people of all ages, from six-week old infants to seniors.
Rahel is an expert on Music Education for Young Children. Since 1986 she has facilitated classes for babies, young children and their parents, conducted workshops and teacher training seminars, and serves as a music education consultant by request.
Rahel is an award-winning Singer-Songwriter and Certified Clinical Musician (CCM). She is a juried artist of the NH State Council on the Arts; N.E.F.A. (New England Foundation for the Arts) and N.E.S.T. (New England States Touring Artist).
Rahel is a two-time winner of Israel's AACI English Songwriting Competition, and while living in Israel she appeared annually at the Jacob's Ladder Folk Festival in Israel. Rahel is recipient of the honorable Shem Tov Award for dedication and commitment in strengthening the New Hampshire Jewish Community. She is a member of the NH Jewish Artist Connection and appears regulary at the National Havurah Committee retreats and at Limmud Boston.
Since the year 2000, Rahel has assumed positions as a Songleader/Cantorial Soloist assisting Rabbis in worship and varied spiritual activities, as well as teaching Hebrew & Jewish Studies.
